Dr. Anasinski completed her residency in Periodontics at
Northwestern University and is Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a Delegate to the Illinois State Dental Society and serves as President of the North Shore Women Dentists Association, Treasurer of the North Suburban Branch of the Chicago Dental Society, Vice President of the Polish American Medical Society and developed a Continuing Education Program for Dental Professionals within the society.

Her interest in Periodontics began when she became a Dental Hygienist in 1987. She attended Loyola Dental School of Dentistry and became a Dentist in 1993, and completed her two year Periodontal residency in 1995.

She has lectured and written several articles on topics in Periodontology and Dental Implants, including effective non-surgical therapies, advanced techniques in regenerative and implant surgery, and periodontal plastic surgery. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Midwest Society of Periodontists, Illinois State Society of Periodontists, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society,  Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Osseointegration, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.


We are pleased to announce that Joseph V, Califano, DDS, PhD has joined our practice.  Dr. Califano was recruited to the University of Illinois as Professor and Director of Postgraduate Periodontics in July 2004.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and serves as an examiner for the Board.  As a 14-year member of the Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Periodontics and a former Commander in the United States Naval Reserves Dental Department, he brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.  Dr. Califano has presented at national and international meetings on many topics including periodontal research, periodontal plastic surgery, and computer guided implant surgery. 

Dr. Califano comes to the Chicago area with his wife, Mary Pat, who is a Nursing administrator, and son Tony, who is a junior at Hinsdale Central High School.  Dr. Califano plays jazz guitar and is an avid runner and cyclist.
